I'm too tired to think about my health

This phrase can be heard often from all sorts of people. Of course, they also have glimmers of consciousness, when it, exhausted under the pressure of life's troubles and eternal busyness, sends a signal "stop", it's time to think about health. But, as they say, good intentions pave the way to hell. Problems last, as a rule, not long. Then you start running in a vicious circle again.

What prevents us from being busy and thinking about health at the same time? First of all, we ourselves and our perception of the world. But let's take a moment to listen to ourselves, to see how our body behaves. Maybe, languishing under tension, it is already giving us distress signals. How and in what way can these signals be expressed? What are the conditions in which we should no longer postpone a visit to the doctor, despite all our busyness. The New Testament tells us the truth: "distinguish between the eternal and the temporal. All our busyness is the transient, which comes and goes. Health alone is eternal.

Don't create difficulties for yourself. Think about your health

Take, for example, so-called stressful situations. And you know that stress simply does not exist. Every situation that we perceive as stressful is just our own attitude, our own vision, our assessment of the situation around us.

Stress is usually defined as situations in which a person does not feel safe, when he feels that someone is encroaching on his personal space, trying to limit him in something or make him do something that he disgusts and does not want to do. Stress is an imagined threat to plans, dreams, desires. Often the echoes of such a situation come at night, when the same situation is replayed over and over in the head in the hope of finding ways to resolve it positively. A person mentally argues with his interlocutors, blames himself for not being able to find or choose words or for having done stupid things, for not being able to react correctly, for not understanding, not finding, giving in to provocation, panicking, not evaluating, giving in to momentary feelings, showing excessive emotionality, etc. etc. etc.

Stop! No unpleasantness is not worth the nerves, the energy you spend on worrying. Teach yourself to count to 10 before you open your mouth. Think of a saving phrase like, "whatever God does, everything is for the best," or, "so it was God's will," or learn a short prayer or mantra that has a calming effect on you. Try to put what just happened to you out of your mind for a while. You will come back to the situation later, when the steam of emotion has evaporated and the fog of emotion has cleared, when you can better see the details of what happened.

Drink more plain water

Water is life. Our body is made up of water. By "water" we mean pure, boiled water without additives, without sugar, without coffee or tea. Just water. It and only it is necessary for our body. Make a habit of drinking 8 glasses of pure water a day. Especially if you feel hungry. Drink a glass of water. If after that the feeling of hunger passes, it means that the hunger signal is sent to you not by your stomach, but by your brain. But if the feeling of hunger does not go away, then proceed to the meal.

Replace office snacks with fiber

For those of us who are constantly busy, the worst thing for our health is snacking. Usually it's either a candy bar or a cookie and waffle, or chips or salted nuts. In other words, anything that you can easily find and pop in your mouth. The fact that all of these fast foods have nothing to do with real food is said and written about on every corner. They are just chemically created products, where special substances are added to irritate the taste and whet the appetite. Think of how you feel after you have filled your stomach with a hamburger. The feeling of satiety comes quickly, and sometimes even a sense of satiety, and even a feeling of sleep. But no more than half an hour passes, when hunger catches up again and you want to inhale the aroma of this hamburger again and put in your mouth this chemically created deliciousness, which settles not in the stomach, but in the brain. It is the brain that screams for a new serving, but not the stomach. Drink some water.

Getting rid of chemical food addiction can be easy and simple. Carry an apple, carrots, peppers, other fruits and vegetables with you. It will be much healthier to feed a hungry stomach with fiber than chemical fast food.

Reach out and smile

It is not a secret that it is very harmful for the body to stay in one position for a long time. If the posture cannot be changed, listen to your breathing. How often and deeply do you breathe? How many times is inhalation and exhalation occurring. Adjust your breathing so that the exhalation and inhalation is on the count of 4. In doing so, train yourself to inhale so that your diaphragm fills with air. Do not lift your shoulders when inhaling. The perfect men's haircut.

While in one pose, learn to relax. In other words, make it a habit to fill your body with a feeling of weightlessness from time to time.

And, of course, sharpen your attention to your teeth and lips as you work. Are your teeth clenched? Not good. Lips pulled into one thin line? Not good. Are the corners of the lips down? Not good. Is the forehead frowned, tense, wrinkled? Not good. Wean yourself off all of these bad habits. The best way is to smile, which stretches the lips, relaxes the muscles of the face, and especially the forehead and neck.
