Ensure that your chin is always in a state parallel to the floor, with your chin stretched slightly forward. Avoid putting your chin on your chest.

Massage

The neck, like the face, absorbs all environmental dirt. Therefore, the neck should be treated as thoroughly as the face. Cleansing, toning, moisturizing - these are the three basic steps in any skin care routine. When moisturizing the skin of the neck, you should relax the muscles and give a light massage, up to the chin and down the line starting from the ear lobe. The back of the neck should not be forgotten. 1-2 times a month you can perform a light relaxing massage with vetiver essential oil 1-2 drops diluted in 10 ml of jojoba base oil. Sour milk, kefir or curd whey can be used for toning and light exfoliation, as well as lemon, lime, papaya juice or raw carrot or apple puree. However, the composition of the remedies and the dosage should be strictly verified. It is not bad to use oat flakes prepared according to a special recipe, fruit sugar, sea salt.

It is best to use non-greasy base oils like jojoba or hazelnut as a moisturizer. The oil should be thoroughly blotted off after 10-12 minutes after application. And if you have applied oil, you should definitely use a powerful cleanser the next day or evening to rinse it off well.

Antioxidant and astringent products should never be overlooked in your skin care routine. Antioxidants remove "free radicals". Astringents are great for tightening the skin of the neck. Such substances include vitamin E, green or black tea, cucumber or witch hazel.

The most important step in neck skin care is relaxing masks. It is especially important to include sandalwood powder in such masks. After such masks, the skin looks fresh and tightened.

Homemade masks for neck and décolletage lifting

Can also be used for face, décolletage and hands. Apply the masks on a relaxed neck. It is better to lie down on a low pillow. In order not to spoil the pillow, put a cellophane on it, with a thick towel on top. Remove hair.

Sandalwood powdered masks:

Lemon, sugar, cucumber

Cleanses, brightens, exfoliates, has an astringent effect.
Mix the juice of half a lemon with 1-2 teaspoons of fruit sugar to make a smooth, thick mixture. Add the juice of the cucumber. Lightly rub into the skin for 1-2 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Never leave on the skin as a mask. Moisturize.

Lifting mask

Mix coconut, cocoa and wheat bran base oils and place on a water bath until the mixture becomes homogeneous (at least 50 ml of each oil). Cool.
Take one capsule of vitamin E and add 1 drop of rose oil to it.
Add to the cooled base oil mixture.
Pour into a dark glass vial with a tightly closing lid. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 3 months.
Apply the mixture on the neck and massage for 1-2 minutes with light movements. Use for a month every day before going to bed. Rinse well. Moisturize.

Apple products

Cleansing mask

Mix 1 tbsp of wheat bran base oil with 1 tbsp of apple puree. Apply to the skin and massage for 5 minutes with gentle strokes.
Place a clean, light cloth dampened in warm water on the neck. Gently clean the skin. Moisten the cloth again, but in cold water, and place it on your neck. Lightly clean the skin. Alternate procedures with the cloth 2-3 times until the mixture is completely removed. Finally rinse off with warm water. Moisturize.

Astringent mask

The mixture also has cleansing, brightening and exfoliating properties
Cut half the cucumber and half the apple into slices and blend in a blender. Add egg white, half a teaspoon of lemon juice and mint leaves (fresh or dried), which are well crushed. Add 1 drop of lime essential oil. Mix all the above ingredients to the consistency of a paste. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Apply the mixture on the skin of the neck. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes, not longer.
Remove with a cloth as described in the previous recipe.

Moisturizing neck mask

Peel and core a large apple. Prepare apple puree. Add 5 teaspoons of honey. Mix until the consistency of sour cream. Apply to the neck and leave on for 10 minutes. Remove with a cloth as described in the previous recipe.

Cleansing and moisturizing mask

Mix 1 tablespoon of well-ground oat flakes with half a tablespoon of honey. Prepare a puree of a quarter of an apple. Mix everything to a paste. Apply to the neck and leave it on for 10 minutes. Remove with a cloth as described in the previous recipe.

Relaxing mask

Mashed potato one medium-sized apple. Add 2 tablespoons of honey and half a tablespoon of dry, well ground sage herb. Mix well. Apply on the neck and leave for 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Moisturize.

Green tea. Antioxidant agent

Brew green tea and allow to cool. Mix 3 tbsp of tea with 3-4 tablespoons of corn flour. The mixture should not spread and at the same time should not be very thick. You can add mashed banana or mango. Apply on the neck and leave it on for 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Moisturize.

Mask with turmeric powder

    The recipe calls for wheat bran oil; is this the same as wheat germ oil?
    I remember it being mentioned many times that germ oil is dirty and should not be used.
