If in summer almost all we have to be afraid of is UV radiation, in winter it is not only the sun's rays multiplied by reflections from white snow, but also extremely low temperatures, frost, cold wind. In winter, the skin becomes coarser - this is its natural protective function, so it tries to protect itself from frost. And due to this, the complexion worsens, spots, thickening, redness, etc. appear. In addition, the skin can peel from weathering or lack of moisture, especially on the nose and cheeks. What should be the right skin care during the cold season?

First of all, it is worth remembering that there is a concept of summer and winter cosmetics. And those creams that perfectly coped with the tasks assigned to them in the summer, will be completely useless in winter. Therefore, it is worth paying attention to special winter creams, the main purpose of which will protect the skin from frost and cold. The use of such a cream (with a high content of fats) should become a habit, you should apply it at least half an hour before going out in winter, it creates a protective film-barrier on the skin. Moisturizing cream, which you used at other times of the year, put aside for now: a large number of moisturizing components in the cream can only harm, pay attention to components nourishing and protective.

Don't forget about face masks - you can do them twice as often in winter. But it's better not to use scrub, despite the fact that you will want to get rid of flaky skin as soon as possible. The delicate skin under the exfoliated skin will suffer from frost even faster, and, as a consequence, will begin to peel again. If you like to use foundation, then winter is your go-to. Tonal cream is the best defense for your facial skin in winter. For cleansing your face in winter, it is better not to use tap water. Try using a cleansing milk to remove makeup and toner to tone your skin. At night, apply a nourishing cream. And do not forget to nourish your skin from the inside - eat healthy unrefined vegetable oils - olive oil, corn oil, linseed oil, add vitamins and microelements to your diet.
