As it is known, the human body has a certain set of chromosomes, which in science is called "karyotype". Each chromosome contains genes that are directly related to heredity, that is, chromosomes as if accumulate in their memory of various diseases, which were diseased ancestors. For the study, white blood cells are taken from a person's blood, which will then be placed in a nutrient medium that ensures their division. Special preparations are used to analyze the number of chromosomes and their structure. As a result, a so-called "chromosome map" of the human organism is drawn up. The cytogenetic method makes it possible to determine the development of such childhood diseases at an early stage, such as Down's disease, as well as Klinefelter and Scherszewski syndromes, serious blood diseases and even predisposition to the development of cancerous tumors.
