Ribbons, cords and sewing threads for household and special purposes with the use of various types of finishes: this is what Ivanovo Textile and Notions Factory OJSC has been specializing in for many decades. Of course, it is not fashionable clothes or shoes, but without the products of the factory it is impossible to imagine the production of many consumer goods. So, if it is threads, then kapron shoe threads, sewing kapron twisted or sewing lavsan threads. Agree, without this "trifle" we would hardly hold in our hands fashionable shoes or put on beautiful women's clothes, which would serve us faithfully for a long time.
The history of the factory began in 1931. It was then called the "Yarn Rewinding" artel. In 1960, it was renamed into the "Galanthery Factory No. 1". Together with the change of name, the products it produced changed. The main purpose was the production of accessories for the clothing industry. And only in 1993, after reorganization, the production received the current name of JSC "Ivanovo textile and haberdashery factory". In other words, its products were necessary at all times, under any government or social system. After all, no one will walk around undressed or barefoot. And it is impossible to live without those "trifles", on the production of which the factory has been specializing for many decades.
The names changed, and with them the technical equipment of the factory changed. After the most modern machine tools and other equipment, which meets the world standards, were installed at the factory, it allowed to expand the range of goods and products. Now the factory supplies not only the clothing or footwear industry, but also such a complex and important industry as aerospace. This means that the production is able to produce ultra-complex products that must meet strict standards and criteria. Some products even have no analogues in the world.
