Universal ubtan recipe
- For the base, take corn flour, oat flour, rice flour and buckwheat flour in equal amounts (for example, 1 teaspoon each). If you use cereal, grind it in a coffee grinder beforehand (the finer the grind, the better). The base makes up about 40% of the total amount of ubtan.
- Now grind the medicinal plant material. It should be about 30% of the total amount of ubtan. The remedy should include plants containing saponins, so that the ubtan glides on the body like soap (licorice roots, aira, linden flowers, flax seeds). What other herbs to add is up to you. Take into account the type and needs of your skin. The main thing is that you should not be allergic to the chosen component.
- You will also need clay, turmeric, essential oils. Choose them too, taking into account your skin type.
When all the ingredients are ground into the finest powder, gently sift them and mix them together. Ubtan can be stored for a year (but if it contains oils, not more than 60 days).
